FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do you choose the people that you interview?

We like to interview entrepreneurs and companies we feel will make an impact on our readers.  We are attracted to those that have an intriguing story and journey. We know, or have a professional connection with most of our guests.

How do you choose the places to visit and businesses to cover for your journal?

I like to travel a lot.  I also enjoy trying new things, so it can be difficult to narrow down my monthly explorations. I try to stick with what feels right at the time.  If I've had a place in mind for months, sometimes even years, then I go for it.

Did you go to school for this? What college did you attend?

No, I did not go to school for blogging, vlogging nor journalism. I actually studied Kinesiology (the study of the human body and movement)and Parks and Recreation at Michigan State University.  I also attended Lawrence Technology University for graduate school, where I received my Master in Business Administration.

People you would like to interview?

1. The James sisters over at DROUGHT. I have followed this family from their very first Instagram post.
2. Shirley B Enig. She is a blogger from London with a degree in mathematics. I love her free spirit. My sister actually introduced me to Shirley when she attempted to help me with my wardrobe. I've been watching her YouTube channel ever since.
3. The Instagram Expert Sue B. Zimmerman. Have you seen her in action? We've only spoken once over the phone, however, many times over social media. She is full of encouragement and energy.
4. Christina Braly (Formally Pretty Shiny Sparkly). Christina would be a great person to interview. She is a blogger as well a Anesthesiologists. WOW!
